It’s been a dreadful year. I adopted a dog from abroad who had all kinds of trauma and hid for 10 months basically, now my cat is clingy and driving me mad, and I can’t find an inch from my mother in my tiny mobile home. I have no space to breathe, this hot weather has made it nearly unbearable. I have no friends, no relatives, social anxiety so I can’t go many places regardless. I’m honestly verging on a breakdown. I can’t even talk to anyone on the phone because I have nowhere private to speak, it’s just awful. I’m sat in the carpark of Lidl at the moment and just wish I could vanish.
@SimonA , have you talk to anyone? like the NHS 111 service option 2 or the samaritans on 116 123?
I think you need some sort of help please call someone ASAP or even if you can safely get to a A&E. This can be sorted out @SimonA with the right help. You are not alone or the only one that is having it tough. If any of us live near by we would help you out some how.
take care and stay in touch.
Hi Simon, welcome to the forum. You are among friends here who truly understand what you are going through. Almost all of us joined because of a crisis. When you are ready, tell us a bit more about your situation.
How old are you, do you live with mum full time in a caravan, do you work, is mum disabled? Then think what you need to change most. Sometimes moving out is the only option left. That’s OK, we understand.
Hi @SimonA
It must be very stressful being cooped up in a mobile home with your Mum and needy pets.
You could contact Shout - they offer support via texting
@SimonA as others have said, please try to get some help. The texting support service is a great idea. Positive thinking - at least our footy team managed to avoid relegation! Stay in touch. COYS ![]()
