Aged 60, the youngest of two daughters. My elder sister is in long term care with Early Onset Dementia and my darling dad died from Alzheimer’s during the pandemic in 2021.

I care for my 88 year old Mother, with the help of my husband and two of my sons. She is very difficult and challenging and lives at home still, determined to be the person she was 50 years ago!

I am a retired Special Needs Teacher and have volunteered for Caring Charities and Alzheimer’s services in the past. I have recently been diagnosed with Osteoarthritis and Fibromyalgia and have days when I cannot move. I am hoping to gain strength and comfort from other’s experiences and advice on this Forum.
