Is the NHS sending out text messages to the over 70s who are high risk as well as sending letters ?
I’ve just had a text saying I’ve been identified as high risk etc . The problem is I don’t know if this is for me or my 90yr mum who has copd ! I’ve had breast cancer and now have Rheumatoid Arthritis so don’t know which of us it’s meant for as local surgery uses my mobile for her as well. Local GP say they aren’t involved in sending them and to wait for a letter or phone call for more info. I’ve just taken 3 weeks unpaid leave from work to protect mum anyway but impatient to find out .
Be very careful there are a lot of scams around at the moment. I guess be a patient person is better than being scammed.
Letter were I think by Tuesday/Wednesday.
