I received a letter from DWP to attend an interview on the 16th September. I’m a full-time carer for my mother
Hi John.
No indication from the DWP as to the purpose ?
A little more and , perhaps , we can help.
( Any other benefits being claimed ? Working ? Studying ? Change in circumstances ? )
hi Chris
The letter says: We’re reviewing your benefits and circumstances. We need talk to you about some changes that may affect your benefits.
There is no changes in my circumstances.
In which case , little we can advise on.
If claiming CA solely , probably just a general interview … help back to work a normal one … with no hidden agenda.
We need talk to you about some changes that may affect your benefits.
Probably just checking that there haven’t been any changes to your circumstances that you haven’t declared.

Hi John
Can we ask you age group. This question comes up from time to time. I sometimes wonder if it’s about getting working aged people back into the non carer work.
I sure many of us would rather had been able to stay in the workplace.
Have you earn’t anything over the current limit.
If not it could just be a general check.
