Carers allowence back dated payment and UC

Hi
I am currently on Universal credit since October last year (replacing my working tax credit as self employed) and have applied for carers. They will back date my payment to about December last year when the DLA was awarded. Will I have to pay UC the back dated carers payment? Being on UC has been hard & can really do with this money to pay some bills.
