I have finally managed to persuade the doctors to come out and see my husband. They are coming next Weds afternoon. What do I tell my husband is the reason for the doctor calling.

When my Mum was having memory problems I finally got her to agree to see the Doctor by telling her it was a routine “over 70’s” health check !
Some doctors will tell patients that they like to keep an eye on their most senior patients, especially those that they don’t see often at the surgery. Be sure to let the doctor know in advance what the true situation is (perhaps email the Practice Manager?)
Great news Tracy. Definitely make sure you send the dr your true concerns in detail so they know what they are looking for in advance. Have a copy to hand to your dr when he/she arrives as well. Best of luck.
