Hi. I meet the criteria to apply for Carers Allowance for looking after a relative, but I’m concerned that it will reduce or prevent her claiming either council tax or social care support, attendance allowance, or pension credit? The person I’m looking after is not severely disabled. Has anybody any experience of this?
The person concerned must be in receipt of Attendance Allowance or Personal Independence Payment (PIP).
