Hi I’ve been out this afternoon and came home to a voicemail on our Home phone claiming to be carers allowance and that it was about a new claim I’d put in, which I haven’t as I’ve been on it for years. Does anyone know if it could be genuine or is a scam? All the time I’ve been on it, it’s never been reviewed etc. I’m worried incase it is genuine and if my carers allowance is going to be affected.
Scam. They communicate by mail normally.
