Im new to the website. I care for my father along with my mother (unpaid) I am self employed so do not qualify for any financial benefit. Im looking for guidance as to how I register as an unpaid carer in the North Lincs area.

I registered on my GPs website: it doesn’t appear to convey many, (if any) advantages, but your GP does need to be aware of your situation.

Can I ask what is the matter with dad? He might be entitled to help you have not been told about.

You can also register for careers credit Carer's Credit: Overview - GOV.UK It mainly registers you in the system without any financial benefit.
