New to forum. ADHD support for adult son

Struggling to support adult son with late diagnosis of ADHD depression and anxiety. he is currently not working and going through divorce and in financial difficulties. I am guarantor for his rent. It’s a bit overwhelming and I feel he could do with sone practical advice from someone other than me.

Hi @MKSunflower - welcome aboard!

Late diagnosis can cause more problems than it solves, at least initially, and it sounds as if your son is having a lot. He probably needs practical advice from people who have a a solid understanding of the challenges he’s facing. Probably best to start with ADDISS - it’s a national support charity for people with ADHD. You can find out more here: https://www.addiss.co.uk/what-we-do/

They have a helpline and other services, so it’s worth a look.

Don you manage your son’s finances as his DWP Appointee?
