It is important for paid and unpaid carers to understand their limitations when someone lacks mental capacity.
ALL medication for a caree without capacity should have the approval of their GP, and this should be recorded. Even simple things like Buttercup syrup. Paracetamol etc.
I know the NHS is no longer prescribing these things, please can Carers UK clarify where this leaves us seeking help?
