Legal and mental wellbeing Advice

Hi, I am looking for some legal and professional advice after being suspended from my current workplace, and currently in the investigation process. My mental health is crumbling with worry and anxiety, and the very thought of all of this is currently making me feel actually nauseous. Is there anyone who could point me in the right direction who specialises in litigious allegations, please? I feel so isolated, ‘dirty’, and pretty depressed. Please help!

What happened that led to your suspension?
Was it related to you being a carer?

This is a forum for unpaid carers.

As this is for unpaid carers, your union like unsion should be supporting you

@HypnoMichael i think it would depend who you work for. You say you are already in the investigation process so it is being investigated.without info it is hard. Like if you worked for an agency or an authority. You could type in google legal and professional advice after being suspended from my job and put in the area that you live after and see if google bring anything up. I don’t know if age uk can offer professional carers advice you could look at there website.but your saying professional carers advice and then legal and professional advice only solicitors can give legal advice you could type into google litigious allegations and there area you live.i dont know if these will help. But this is a forum for unpaid carers like bowlingbun has said.

@HypnoMichael you could try ringing Age uk look at their website they will have an advice line. They may be able to offer professional carers advice as they deal with care. But legal I’m not sure that they deal with legal but may know of somewhere you could contact. You could also look on the law society website with solicitors on you would have to look at the catagories that are on there. And you put the area your in and it will bring solicitors up. They cannot give you advice just the name of solicitors.

Hi @HypnoMichael

I’m sorry you are in this situation.

However, as others have said, this forum is for supporting people who care for a family member or friend.

We aren’t in a position to offer the sort of advice you seek.

I suggest you start with your agency as they will have policies for allegations then you can read up on the processes of what happens when an allegation is made. You could also contact ACAS.
