Im 27 old my mother 59, looking for others carers, stroke

Hi. My mother have cognitive issues after a stroke, this happened more than 10 years ago. She is now pretty good, sometimes her behaviors its a bit hard, but lately all is pretty good.

Im looking other carers of someone who after a stroke ended up with cognitive issues, I understand this is called “vascular dementia”, my mother have short memory issues, cant do simple maths, gets angry, have atypical behaviors, etc. But she isnt lost or any like that.

Welcome to the forum. Is mum claiming Disability Living Allowance or Personal Independence Payment?
Did you know that from the date of diagnosis, she has been exempt from Council Tax. It’s fairly easy to claim, and unusually can be backdated!
