Good morning everyone. Noreen here from Blackpool. I am 57 and I carer for my son who has aspergers. I also have my own health problems, fibromyalgia, chronic daily headache which I have 24/7. Got headache age 8 and never been pain free since. I have no brothers or sisters and since mum died December 2018 I am even lonelier. I am on the penpals list with Carers UK. I have always loved writing letters. I also like reading which I haven’t done any for 4 years. I have depression as well so finding living without mum so hard. On my own at home now son has finally got his first full time job. Hopefully next month they will keep him on as he is really enjoying this job. Hope to hear from someone soon. Anyone live in or near Blackpool?

sounds like you have done a great job with your son - now that he has his own place and is working. I hope they keep him on too.

Have you thought about joining a book club? Your local library would be a good place to enquire about one.
