Hearing aids and suggestions of what to get

Hearing aids?

Any suggestions?

For the person I care for. They want the smaller non “full ear” types

Some prices I have seen are £2 k etc

Any suggestions appreciated :+1:

Hi @Hello_there We went for the free full ear NHS ones
My uncle got ‘expensive ones’ from Boots or Specsavers I think that were tiny and promptly lost one. but I don’t know what they’re like.

My only advice would be check how to activate the bluetooth connection with their mobile phone or the TV (if the TV has that setting) - it makes a BIG difference to their enjoyment of the TV / a phone call, and your hearing

For smaller, non-“full ear” hearing aids, I’d recommend looking into brands like Phonak or ReSound. Both offer discreet options that are pretty powerful without being bulky. If you’re looking to stay under £2k, it’s worth checking if there are any deals or discounts, especially online.
