Yep … that may take a while.
Despite news to the contrary from CUK , this forum is quiet … and getting quieter.
( Even the recent BBC Panorama program did not attract the attention it deserved. )
Plenty of reads but … the real acid test … postings … and not just the ones on the social side ?
Are you aware of the Facebook group for NHS Continuing Care? You might find more people there who use a Personal Budget.
As usual, this site is proving to be an invaluable source of information and support. Out here in the world there are people who have derived direct benefit from the thoughts and ideas of fellow travellers. There have been many times I’m so stressed and upset I hardly know where to turn.
Don’t get downhearted if the site traffic is tailing off. Please keep going. I am not a fan of Facebook and would not feel comfortable seeking advice from that site (although I may do a bit of lurking now that I know about it).
I’ll do the reading on health budgets like I’ve read up on other areas. Thanks so much for the v helpful links.
Individual forum members like myself and a few others do our best to keep it alive … FOR THE BENEFIT OF FELLOW CARERS.
