Not a fan of Virtual Wards, yes it does almost feel like you are a slave! Had it for a while after one of Dad’s hospitalisations last year, ringing at inconvenient times (at the till in Boots loaded up with packs of incontinence pants) and asking loads of questions that only Dad’s 4x daily carers could answer like “has he opened his bowels today?”, was quite glad to see the back of that, felt more like a burden than a help.
