I’m increasingly incredulous at the frequency of posts that contain phrases like “I’m managing my parents retirement income but I’m clueless, help!”
What is this trend? Why do retirees give control of their finances to family members that demonstrably have no knowledge how to manage money?
And on the other side, why on earth would someone agree to take over their parents’ nest egg when they know they have no clue what they’re doing?
There are so, so, so many bad outcomes underway in this sub. I just don’t understand why.
