I’m a newbie and Bowlingbun was a massive help to me if you find my recent thread.
What I didn’t post in my original thread as I’m still coming to terms with it and blame myself, is that my dad with his multiple health complications and advanced dementia actually caught Covid in respite care last week and died very suddenly in hospital on Sunday.
The irony is, he was due to have his vaccination this week in the care home and mum has hers booked in for Saturday evening at the surgery.
Mum and I are both of the opinion that the sooner everyone is vaccinated the better. My mum is 84 and had a heart operation on the 2nd December, I believe the risk out there right now is massive. Maybe your GP can alleviate your worries.
