Hello everyone, I am a new member to this forum and would like to begin with the "about me" declaration so here goes...
I am 61 yrs old and a full time carer looking after my wife of 58 yrs who is physically and mentally dissabled, we met in 2005 and I became her carer in the first year of our meeting, we got married 4 yrs later and I have been trying my hardest to make life for my wife and myself more bearable with each passing year.
We have overcome a lot of obstacles that have been presented to us in the past regarding the health of my wife and also a few problems associated with my own health. The biggest problems that present themselves now are mainly financial and current events have caused me to reach out and ask for help from every carer in the country as new government policies and benefit changes are being forced upon every Dissabled person and carer which affects all concerned in a very stressful and financial way.
