I keep a diary not to prove my caring but unfortunately for the failings of mental health, so if and when it happens ( the person dies I can prove their negligence their delays and their ignorance in helping when literally the person needing it is begging for help and it never comes. I made a choice to do this from the time he asked for help last time and didn’t get it twice and ended up in hospital for a year with a brain injury for live. The mental health system is broke so I would urge anyone to keep a diary of any calls messages left unreturned phone calls etc log it all.

Thank you though for the diary sheet really helpful. I’m just going through and time at the moment caring for my son and no one is listening as usual. I’m exhausted x
