Care record templates

I was wondering if anyone can point me in the right direction for some care record templates? I have care workers at home 4 times a day and right now they just use a diary, but I’d like to implement a more formal recording system. Does anyone have any suggestions please?

I would have thought, by law, that these carers ought to be using more than a diary. Is there a written care plan? Do they give yor mother her medicines to take?

Microsoft Office care record templates available as a download :

Generic logbook

Recommend selecting one , and printed off for future use ?
( Open Office … alternative to Microsoft Office … available as a FREE downland. )

Internet search … CARE RECORD TEMPLATES … plenty of IMAGES available as a guide.

I’ve had dealings with 6 care agencies one way and another , all have used standard forms and must legally record on MAR charts for medication. Sounds a bit of a cowboy outfit/one man band?

My carers are privately employed by myself so that’s why I don’t have a formal record keeping scheme in place, but I’m looking to set this up.

In which case , the link to Microsoft Office templates will be of assistance ?

Thanks, it’s not quite what I’m looking for, but it’s a start.

Ah I see, don’t forget the pitfalls- paying pensions for them, cover when they need holidays etc but if you can get it working- what a big saving

Had the same problem as the templates the local services provided were useless for my requirements. Simply ended up drafting up my own template in column form to accommodate all the relevant info required, with a box for the carer to sign and date on each visit. Found using A4 horizontally worked best for me and by running it through the printer twice printing on both faces saved paper.
