Hello. I’m not sure if I’m in the right place to ask about this but I need a little help.
I’m on a waiting list atm for a carers assessment and I’m wondering if anyone knows what kind of support they can give for people who need to move?
I’m 25 and he is 26, we currently live with my family and my partners live around 80 miles away. I have a lodging tenency with my mother and we have had a bad falling out recently, about me not having any respite or time with my family. These are all through my choices and nothing to do with my partner(who I care for) as I’ve been having bad anxiety attacks the past few years, mainly because of her.
We never have money to do things as after we pay our half of rent, with no housing help, pay for our own food, household items, pet food, utilities and we also pay for internet. We are left with around £100 to get us through the rest of the month, sometimes it barely lasts 2 weeks.
Sorry for rambling, but the short version is, we wanna get out and move closer to my MIL, but I can’t do that without proof of a need to move. She used to be his carer and can provide support for us, no one in my family knows how to or has even bothered to learn or approach the subject.
If anyone requires anymore information as I know, most of it probably doesn’t make sense. Please feel free to ask.
