Hello all ive been posting on here for a few months now and id just like to tell you all that my mum past away 29/11/19 at 9.20 in the marie curie hospice a month morra i miss her so much and the dwp funeral payment have declyned my application form for help with her funeral expenses cause my daughter signed the papers with the funeral director we used and i do not have £2499 to pay it dont know what else to do anyone any ideas please thank you

The correct procedure for approaching the DWP for assistance with funeral expenses :
Get help with funeral costs (Funeral Expenses Payment): How it works - GOV.UK
If there is a deviation , problems will occur … as you know have , apparently , occurred.
( A case of following the procedures , then acting … not vice versa. )
In which case , I would recommend the CAB for their assistance.

Alternatively, you could contact the Citizens Advice Bureau for advice.
