Fulltime mother, can i still receive carers allowance?

Hello, im a fulltime mother for a 1 year old, my partner receives Pip for daily and mobility. I’m just wondering if im allowed to apply and receive carers allowance for caring for my partner even tho im a fulltime mother?

Yes is the short answer. I would suggest that you ring our Carers UK helpline for a full benefits check, to make sure you are both claiming everything you are entitled to.
