I gave up my job and friends and moved to care for parents. I’m feeling awful.

Welcome to the forum. I am so sad to hear that. Did you want to tell us more? Do you want to go on caring for them? You don’t have to care 24/7 if you don’t want to. And you really shouldn’t have to give up you job and friends to do so if you don’t want to.
I was carer until recently for my Mum and Dad. Though I didn’t live in. Dad passed away in residential care in Feb. Mum still in her own home with support. I juggle caring for them with work and 2 small children. Although I did give up work for a time when kids were small as I just couldn’t see a way to juggle it all. The forum has helped me back into employment! Things are much, much brighter than when I joined. Tell us some more and we’ll see if we can help xxxx
