i have heard about an annual payment called carers support grant in the uk for people being paid carers allowance, is this still a current payment that happens?
I have no experience of this, but this information may be of use to you
If you are a registered unpaid (not necessarily in receipt of carers allowance) carer in a local carer support group. You maybe able to get a yearly one of grant. There is a criteria to be able gain the grant. Which is unique to each Local Authority. Some carers NHS grants are funded in this way.
