Could I ask a question please? My father passed away recently but just as the Covid crisis hit he was placed in a care home. Since it wasn’t possible for him to be assessed for CHC the NHS were paying for his care. Now that he has passed does anyone know if we will have to pay back the funds for his care from his estate (he may have ended up as self-funding as he had a lump sum in the bank). Any help greatly appreciated.
