Proper reasonable adjustments - not just lip service

This should be the norm not, not just at Alder Hey:

Less stressful and traumatic for person, parents/carers, staff, other patients …

Surely a win, win situation, I wish M had a better experience when he had a tooth out under general anaesthetic. Despite everything I had said to them, the nurse asked him “on a scale of one to ten, where would you say your pain was”. I said that was a very silly question under the circumstances, to which she replied “but I need to know!”

No understanding then. Such little training is given.

Needless to say I complained to the hospital along the lines of an urgent need for further training, and they did apologise.
