PIP Evidence

My wife is now transferring from DLA to PIP. She has advanced MS, bed bound and on palliative care for pain management. Some of the letters I want to use for evidence state that the doctors would like my wife to go in hospital for symptom control, the trouble is when she saw a neurologist in 2016 he said she was imunocompromised and not to go in hospital, and that there was a good chance she may get an infection that could prove fatal. I’m worried that if I use these letters the DWP will say that we’re exasperating her symptoms by not going in hospital and refuse her claim for PIP.

Any thoughts what we should do?, the neurologist didn’t included anything in his letter about his concerns

Thanks in advance for your help

Hi Charlie,

Concentrate on the day to day care your wife needs, you shouldn’t need lots of letters.
