Hello. This is my first post. I am primary carer to my mum who suffered a traumatic brain injury from a car accident. She has started being deceitful and abusive towards me. My questions are as follows:
Is there any service that can help me in navigating these issues?
My cousin upon hearing about this has suggested I take a holiday. Does anyone know any good short breaks or day trips in Lancashire? I am in warton Preston but we just moved here and I am not quite familiar with the area.

How old is mum?
Does she live with you?
Is she claiming any disability benefits?
Getting any support from health or Social Services?
Not sure if this might be of help to YOU to get a break. It’s only one or two nights, but useful to help you recharge a bit. Otherwise I am not sure if I can help much as am down South - sorry.
Thanks @Melly1 I had the link ready to click and seem to have forgotten. Put it down to how much is going on right now. SIGH a few more days and I will be able to get feet back on the ground again - hopefully.
