He doesnt qualify for attendence allowance as he gets Disability living allowance and he spends that on a mobilty scooter which he cant currenly use as he cant get on it. We are getting that changed to an electric wheelchair but it is going to take 8 to 9 weeks to get it which he keeps moaning about (like many old people when he wants something he wants it straifht away and doesnt want to wait)! Wr are getting a new social services assessment but we need to wait until the hospital linked carers discharge him.
