Im looking for a helper to wash/bath an elderly female friend who is struggling with a frozen shoulder. Being male its not appropriate for me to do this. She only need somebody for an hr possibly 2 a week to help. What should i be looking to pay per hour(West London)

it depends if she is paying someone who is self-employed or going through an agency. I don’t know London rates, but sure others on here will. You could also ring around a few agencies and just ask them their charges as this will give you an idea.

Going rate to agency around here in Bournemouth would be about £25 and carer would get about £9.50 to £10.50 of that!
