Hi, due to the present situation I feel ready to force myself into the 21st century and use technology that I have avoided for so long.

I would like to communicate with other carers having cared for many years for my severely physically-handicapped daughter, the last 15 years on my own.

We live in the Halifax area but look forward to hearing from anyone in similar situation.

You seem quite internet-savvy already.

I care for S, he has autism and related learning difficulties. I’m his sole carer. It’s exhausting isn’t it, even more so under lockdown.

Welcome to the forum. My son is 41, with severe learning difficulties.
