Had a rare day off & was at a loss at what to do

I need to treat myself as a work in progress :smirk:

I had the day off with my ‘list’ & managed to tick off most of it!

Good call

Well done! That’s great news. Here’s to the next “YOU day”.

@Hello_there sounds like you the strategy works for you too. Now what you need to do is to make sure your list/lists have variety - so not just things that need doing, but some ‘me’ time too - things that recharge your batteries too.

Carers UK do share and learn activities perhaps take a look at some.

In Russian, there is one word meaning “it’s pleasing to me”. Now winter is fading, think about what pleases you. A favourite cafe, meal, walk, or all three. I had been a carer for so long I found this difficult. Alternatively make a list of things you had often thought about, but never got round to doing, or things you had always wanted to learn.
