My nan whom I cared for passed away in February, she had raised me so she was like my other mum. Whilst I get on fine now every day sometimes things remind me of her and then I get tearful, for example, a song, something that my nan would have really liked, seeing very old ladies on tv. Deep down I miss her so much, I know that I will always miss her but will this get easier?

Yes, it is very early days for you.

As time passes, you will feel the cloud begin to lift and the ache and sadness will begin to subside. Songs, old ladies on TV etc will still remind you of her, but you will just remember her without feeling so sad. You are grieving and as BB says, it’s early days.
