Hi & welcome Marcos

There are hundreds of makes of manual(are you asking about a manual) wheelchairs. It depends what you want to do with it. Transport it put in a car boot etc. Does Gran want to use one. Many elderly often refuse to use one. And if they do and it’s appears to be a hassle in the first instances. Can be put off using one to go out. Some local charities provide manual chairs free or for a small donation. If you or gran is unsure about one personally I would just borrow one.

I’ve used Redcross and it was all straight forward. I have never used Shop mobility.

Marcos, are you in the UK?
Is your grandma still in hospital?

Dear Marcos_2107
Hi my advice to you would be to give the Carers UK a ring which the number I will give to you below. I am sure your fellow carers will be able to give you advice to as a couple already have. I hope you find a suitable wheelchair for your gran.
Welcome to the Forum! As I have mentioned you are not alone in your caring role and I am sure that many carers on here will understand exactly what you are going through, how you are feeling and offer support. Caring can be very lonely and the pandemic has made caring responsibilities challenging as many carers have been socially restricted and unable to attend social groups etc that is if you have the time to go to social groups.
Carers UK are running online weekly meet-ups for carers which might be helpful for you and you can find the information on how to register at Care For A Cuppa:-Online meetups | Carers UK. Then there is another one called Share And Learn:-Share and Learn | Carers UK.
We also have a Telephone Number which you could give them a ring the Number is 0808 808 7777 and is open from Monday to Friday at 9am-6pm. Our Email Address is:-(advice@carersuk.org).
They provide information and guidance to unpaid carers. This covers:-
-Benefits And Financial Support
-Your Rights As A Carer In The Workplace
-Carers Assessments And How To Get Support In Your Caring Role
-Services Available To Carers And The People You Care For
-How To Complain Effectively And Challenge Decisions.
I think it would be a good idea for you to give Carers UK a ring and see if they can help you.
Best Wishes
Kristie
