Eating disorders: Carers training/support

Beat, the UK’s eating disorder charity, is running free eating disorders training sessions for carers and parents across the UK.

Developing Dolphins is a free, two day course for carers of a loved one (over the age of 13) affected by either anorexia nervosa or bulimia nervosa.
The course is based on evidence-based treatments using the new Maudsley Method and empowers carers of a loved one with anorexia nervosa and bulimia nervosa to support change and promote recovery.
Carers will gain:
• a better understanding of anorexia nervosa and bulimia nervosa,
• a better understanding will learn how to best support their loved one
