@AlisonNoMates the only other option is look for a local person in your area with a van. Who does this for a living who would put all the things in his van you want take it to your bungalow and put it in there for you.so you do not have to move it. But you would need to pack the things up , and they would charge. You could ask your local citizens advice bureau in your area if they knew anyone reliable like this they may do. Then you could ring them and ask them for a price to move your stuff from the house to the bungalow and how much it would cost. Then get the things you want to take and wanted packed up ready for them. The council Kelly on the thread mentioned has said that you said the council have said anything that you do not want if you leave they will dispose of it. So that is good.
A removal company can do all your packing for you. I’ve told you about financial support for moving but we can’t do these things for you.
How are you getting on?If the council will dispose of un wanted items you can’t give away or sell, it might help if those items were put in a separate area of each room
