I hae been in caring for about 3 years now. I got into it after a near-fatal stroke ended my IT career. Helping people who cannot help themselves is the best job I ever had. I am glad that as a salaried care worker you find your work satisfying and rewarding but Carers UK is a charity set up to support those caring for family/friends in a non-professional, unpaid capacity with it’s members offering support and advice to each other from their own experience via this forum.
