Consultation: They’re seeking views and ideas on how to prevent, diagnose, treat and manage the 6 major groups of health conditions that most affect the population in England., by June 27th.
I’ve given some pointed remarks. It looks like it’s focused on ‘quick fixes’ short term, and not deeply researching case examples. So I suggested they connect with CarersUK, Maggies, British Heart foundation etc.
I love the fact that they talk about a strategy and then go down the quick fix route, or kick it into the long grass.
We need a government that concentrates on a long term plan: it’s the only way to do it properly.
