Hi everyone I am new here and this is my first post. I am carer for my husband and I am recovering from surgery for sarcoma and I have surgery for breast cancer coming up. My husband is not my husband anymore. We are hoping for a dementia diagnosis soon. I feel so alone as not only is he no longer the husband I knew so well but my family have no idea what it’s like living with someone who is no longer himself. Thanks for listening.
