Chiropodist issues regarding ingrowing toe nail

Greetings
We have been having great difficulty to get Bashir toe nail maintained by both the NHS chiropodist and private chiropodist
Non of them want to adjust their treatment to help him Because he has had a few painful incidents at the hands of some chiropodist he has become very reluctant to allow his nail on his feet to be trim. so what we have had to do is insist for the nail to be file, But the NHS are not willing to do it and when i have ask them for alternative method such as using mild sedation to get it done they refuse. now private chiropodist coming home cannot carry all their equipment with them.
this has become a nightmare.
Can you please help us find a service that can really help us please.I am concern that social care can accuse us of neglecting him and this can lead to all sort of issues.
Has any other parents written about this issue please
Awaiting urgent reply

Have you thought about using a private beautician to have the toes filed? They can also trim them if necessary. After major abdominal surgery I can’t look after my toes very well and then I was disabled in a car accident.. I had a home beautician already so she did my toes too. It’s very reasonably priced as there are no salon costs. To start with you could ask for a full pedicure which is very pleasant. That’s usually a warm foot bath, and a foot massage. This would soften the nails and make them easier to trim. I now visit a chiropodist every 10 weeks for various reasons but it’s a different experience.

Thank you

I agree with Bowlingbun. We have a beautician come out to us to cut and file our toenails and she is very good and very reasonable.
