This is what ‘they’ are relying on isn’t it? The fact that we are too broken from years of caring to fight via the appeal system? So very very wrong.
@bowlingbun I’m so sorry to hear of all your battles and wholeheartedly empathise. I too am currently going through the mill with Social Services who have been stonewalling and being selective and economical with the truth since March this year and I’ve had more than one breakdown. I hope you are coming through the bad times and into some better times. I really just wanted to send you a virtual hug xx

I’m new to this forum so I don’t have advice or anything useful for you but I did want to say you’re not alone, I think so many carers are going through similar things.
I hope you can get your mum into a good, caring home where you can get quality time with her, and allow you to have respite from the battles.

Thanks. Sadly I’m all too familiar with our useless council’s complaints officer, I’m still waiting for them to act on Ombudsman’s advice from 2018!
