Hi all! I’m Jane – and I work at Carers UK. If you haven’t come across it before, I’d like to flag that we have a guide called ‘Looking after someone’ which brings together all the practical aspects of caring in one place.
There is information on benefits, wellbeing, aids and equipment, breaks, and your rights if you’re in paid employment. Printed copies can also be ordered via our online shop and you can find downloadable versions here: Looking after someone guide | Carers UK
There are bespoke versions for Wales, Northern Ireland, Scotland and England.
