Dealing with nurses when husband/patient is non compliant

(((HUGS))) Helena. Whenever I read your posts I always think “it shouldn’t be like this”.

Just sending you a big hug. My Mum was left caring for my Dad who was a difficult bully and also deemed to have mental capacity. It drives me mad that carers are still suffering like this. As you say it came to a head when he went into hospital and I refused to have him back into my Mum’s care. And surprise, surprise when we stood our ground he was deemed NOT to have mental capacity. When you are feeling stronger keep pushing it with his GP.

Just be prepared that if it does reach crisis point you need to seize upon it as a chance for things to change.

Are you in receipt of attendance allowance for him? This might enable you to afford some care for him to give you a break?
