My parents were actually the ones that moved away from home. They’re both in their mid to late 50s so for right now there isn’t really anything we need to help them with. I assume when they start to slow down in the next decade or so, either my brother or myself (or both) might move near them. They did the same for my grandmother who’s in her mid 80s.
I don’t believe that anyone should uproot themselves from their own home to care for elderly parents!
