'Me Time' is a chance to do something for your own enjoyment. These online sessions, funded by the Welsh Government, are a place where you can get involved in a range of activities that you may not be able to do normally and explore new opportunities. We will be doing all sorts of things ranging from group viewings of the great wonders of the world, to physical exercise to relaxation and mindfulness and so much more.

These sessions are all about you and your wellbeing.

Come along and have some fun, take a break from your daily routine and share different experiences whilst in the company of other carers.

Find out more about Me Time and what carers have said about supporting their mental health here.

Sessions are being added all the time so please check back frequently to see what else may be occurring.

We also run Care for a Cuppa sessions where you get a chance to chat with other carers. Find out more about these sessions here.

Me Time Wellbeing Days

The aim of these sessions is to help you focus on a particular aspect, supporting your wellbeing by taking you to a different world. They are filled with fun and quirky facts, and are seasonally relevant in order to help you remain connected to the world outside your door.

King’s Garden is a social enterprise that supports those who need help to access the natural world for themselves; those in care homes, hospitals, living with dementia and/other life-impacting conditions.

Tensions are high already, but then disaster strikes – Doug is found dead in the gents toilets! With stars vying for awards there is no doubt in anyone’s mind that his death is the result of foul play – murder to be exact!

Monday, 12th July, 11am-12pm: Mindfulness

Lose yourself for an hour of mindfulness meditation with 'Mindfulness' Mike.

It's easy to get caught up in a pattern of swirling thoughts—thinking about a laundry list of things that need to be done, ruminating on past events, or could-be situations of the future—and learning mindfulness can help. But what exactly is mindfulness?

It can be defined as a mental state that involves being fully focused on "the now" so you can acknowledge and accept your thoughts.

Tuesday, 13th July, 2-4pm: Managing Your Mind : Anger

Anger is a fundamental human response to pain, frustration or displeasure. Sometimes we can find it hard to control this.

At this trying time, we may be more inclined to lose our patience due to the anxieties we are all trying to deal with.

This webinar will look at our emotions and why we can become angry; the signs that our anger may be increasing; how to handle our anger; becoming aware of our triggers and communicating our feelings more appropriately; and finally, how to find space in our lives for self-care, to relax and allow anger and frustration to leave.
