I found carers UK I’m March 2016 when my now late husband suffered strokes vascular dementia and other health issues. . We had been married for over 50years when he passed away. My family and I were heartbroken to say the least at the vascular dementia diagnosis. He eventually needed a nursing home as the consultant felt it was unsafe for both him and myself to be at home . Very difficult for us to accept.
I’ve managed to get my home in better order as looking after him was full time before he was hospitalised. On going
My family are my main interest. Enjoy meeting a friend for late breakfast or early lunch once a month if possible. Started reading again.
