Does anyone have a view on if /when we should stop using agency carers and PA during this virus self isolation time.worrying for us all and we need the help but don’t want the virus!!
I decided to cancel my mums carers when the lockdown started. Although she only has one carer a day for half an hour to help get washed and dressed etc, I decided that it would be safer for myself to undertake this care rather than a minimum of four different girls coming into mums house over the week. I am still continuing to do this until I feel the risk has lessened, it is hard work as I also pop up to do her lunch also but hold onto the fact that it won’t last forever and that I can reinstate the carers again at some point.
